Timber frames are constructed out of treated pine or hardwood. They are a great choice for an aesthetically pleasing deck.
Metal is a good alternative because metal frames will never rot and are the perfect option for bushfire prone areas. There is no maintenance or upkeep. We use a box span system by Spantec which is light and easy to connect.
